Good Note and Bad Note
Good Stuff First...This morning Brian was yelling for me from upstairs "Momma, Momma" I ran to the stairs and said "Good Morning" and he said "Blankie, Mommy Blankie". I went upstairs to see what he was talking about. He points to my bed and says "See" and points to the comforter. I immediately smell finger nail polish...YES as you can see by the picture Mr. Moore decided he was going to paint his toe nails and finger nails like Mommy.
I took him downstairs to the bathroom and he points to his toes and says to me "Cute Momma"!!!....Priceless
Bad Stuff...Sunday evening at midnight my cousin Christina and her daughter Angelina were taken to the hospital due to their apartment catching on fire. Yesterday morning we get the call. Christina and Angelina are both on Ventilators and have burns. They are in the burn center at the hospital. Yesterday afternoon all the family congregated at the hospital to see them.
Christina has minor burns on her face and has some burns on her right hand, not sure yet on how bad they are. She is on the ventilator due to her asthma and they had her sedated, if she continues to do well they will release her today out of the burn center.
Angelina on the other hand is about 10 or 11 and is in bad shape. They have her in a medically induced coma. They have her whole face wrapped and her arms all wrapped and suspended in the air. 20% of her body is burned. Her lungs are not doing so well, at this point it's touch and go. We don't know much about Angelina at this point.
The apartment they were living in didn't have any smoke detectors and has had 4 fires in the last 2 months due to faulty wiring. Angelina was sleeping in the living room which is the same place the fire started. When they reached her she was on fire and was not breathing.
As you can imagine my family and I are in shambles and are pretty wrecked. We are a very tight family and yesterday we filled up the whole family waiting area at the hospital, we came from all over Oregon and California. We know the power of prayer and we know the power of love. Nothing will bring us down, we have to keep positive and keep praying....Please keep us in your prayers. Please pray that Angelina will make it and recover.
